Most SU Online courses have check boxes on the course main page where you can check off if you have completed an activity or reading. This is a great way to help you keep your place as you move through course material.
However, at times, you may find that some boxes look a little different (have a dashed line instead of a solid line) and cannot be checked when you click on them. Don't panic. Moodle will automatically fill these boxes with check marks when you have fulfilled all of the requirements for a particular forum, assignment or activity. For instance, if you are required to start a new forum discussion and post two additional replies, once you do all three of these things, Moodle will fill in the box with a check mark. Each activity is different, so if you have any questions about the requirements for a particular activity, be sure to contact your instructor.
