If your instructor is allowing you to re-submit your assignment, in most cases he or she will change the status on your assignment from "Submitted" to "Draft."  Once this has been done, you will be able to re-submit your assignment by doing the following:


Login to your SU Online course and click on the assignment that you would like to update.

  1. Scroll down to almost the bottom of the page and click Edit submission.
  2. In the File submissions area, right click on your old assignment file.
  3. In the pop-up window that appears, click Delete.
  4. You will be shown a confirmation pop-up window asking if you want to delete the file.  Click OK.
  5. Now you will be able to add a your new assignment file.
  6. Remember to click Save changes when you have uploaded the new file.
  7. Your new file will be saved.
  8. You should now be able to submit your assignment by clicking the Submit assignment button.
