Students in SU Online academic courses are typically broken up into small groups of six to eight people for course forum discussions. This is done before the beginning of each semester.
You will only be able to see the posts from people in your small group in course forums. Moodle regulates this automatically, so you do not need to do anything special when you post in a forum. If you do not see any posts in a forum, no one else in your group has posted to the forum yet. When you add a post to a small group forum, only the other members of your small group will see it when they enter the forum.
The one exception to this is the General Forum in each course. When you add a post in the General Forum, all students, regardless of what small group they are in, are able to see and reply to the post as one big group.
